Vikash has undertaken action research on promotion of alternative housing technology. It has taken up field level research and extension on the following technologies:
Pabel Dome, Gothic Model, Pre-cast materials, Ferro-cement, Brick dome and Mud Grass Roof are the alternative housing models we have worked on.
Vikash has constructed individual houses, Mamata houses, community building and cyclone shelter-cum-school buildings in Puri district of Odisha for rehabilitation of people affected by the Super Cyclone of 1999.
