Our assistance includes mobility aids, assistive devices, inclusion in regular schools and other training institutions, self employment, income generation activities and so on. Vikash undertook vocational training and Entrepreneur Development Program for the disabled to enhance their income. Since sustainable independence is easier to achieve in an empathetic group, we organized Self Help Groups (SHG) for persons with disabilities and arranged credit through credit unions and financial institutions.

Disability affects a wide range of socio-economic outcomes, including education, information and mobility. Vikash model of Community Based Rehabilitation(CBR) includes all possible ways to assist people with disabilities to live life more independently, to live with their families and in their communities.
