All children are born equal and hence deserve equal opportunity, care and protection. Vikash works to provide an enabling environment for the children with disability to learn and live with dignity. Social interaction among the general children and children with disabilities is a mandate facilitated by Vikash everywhere. Besides providing special medical services, treatment, care, aids and appliances, the children are provided pre-schooling along with others. They are also given ADLS (Activities of Daily Living Skills), speech therapy and behavioral orientation. The local school teachers are oriented on managing these children with special learning needs.

Children with disabilities are excluded from any kind of education due to poverty, barriers, unavailability of special Teachers etc. When children with disabilities get an opportunity to participate in mainstream education equally with others, they learn from an early age in an inclusive educational environment. Thus Vikash conduct the training programme for Teachers, Parents, Children with Disabilities and members of School Management Committee to strengthen and promote inclusive education in the mainstream schools. Vikash helps Children with disabilities to access assistive devices and study materials for their full participation in school education systems. Vikash do the assessment of children with specific learning disability in Schools and provides them technical & professional support for their academic and learning improvements.
